I discovered some great veggie food restaurants in Phuket. All you have to do is: go to main market area on Ranong Road, walk about 100 yards or so. These are exact opposite of a Buddhist temple, hard to miss.

Good thing is that they never get crowded and offer very friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

It is just like home food, usually start around 10 am and go on till late afternoon but are closed for dinner.

Note the text in the first pic: Sublime Karma. Not only that, the dish below was better tasting than real Lamb/chicken..without any smell or blood. I have had many mock meat dishes before but this was something out of the world.
